My journey as an artist has never been a straight line — more like a constellation slowly revealing its pattern. I grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney, the kind of place where dreaming big meant learning to find your own light, even when the world didn’t hand it to you. Music became my outlet early on. As a teenager, I wrote songs to understand myself, crafting little universes before I even realised storytelling would become my lifelong compass.

What began as private self-care eventually grew into ‘astroscales’ — a narrative framework, a persona, and a creative engine that lets me flicker between fact, fiction, and friction. Each album is an ACT in a much larger story. Each song is a breadcrumb on the path back to myself.

Those early songs were experiments — genres, identities, energies. They became the foundation of the genre-fluid, multi-vocal world that ‘astroscales’ now occupies. Even back then, I was exploring how identity shifts depending on the moment, the mood, or the myth you need to survive.

Inspiration from Life

My songs come from lived experience — heartbreaks, reinventions, queer identity, spiritual reckoning, and the grit needed to keep rebuilding. I hide truths in myths so I can speak them more boldly.

Experimentation as Practice

I use multiple vocal personas — ASTRO, AURA, SOLAN — as storytelling tools.

Some tracks need my grounded, vulnerable voice.
Some need that powerhouse feminine energy.
Some, like WARRIOR, need a messy, electric tangle of voices: male, female, and the “third presence” caught in the gummy threads of the story.

Because truth isn’t one sound — it’s the harmony between them.
Sometimes my sass is a strut. Other times… she says what I can’t. 😉

Collaboration With Technology

Working with producers and AI systems allows the music to evolve intuitively. I’m meticulous but instinct-driven — I chase the emotional thread until the song becomes whatever it needs to be.
